Willowlamp's first collection of wall lights!

Willowlamp Three-Tier-500-Wall-Sconce-Chrome

Adam, of Willowlamp in Cape Town, is ON FIRE! He has not only introduced his first collection of wall lights, he's gone and created 20 of them!! And they are all good!!!

This is a sneaky first peak (they are so new, he's still putting them up on the web site). Most are wall versions of designs that already exist in other forms, so you can now specify wall lights to match the chandelier. But they work really well on their own, too.

For example, the wall version of the Three Tier Chandelier above, and these:

The Scalloped Looped wall light:

The Circular Pod wall light:

The Faraway Tree wall light:

The Protea wall light:

Most of those above are basically half the chandelier attached to the wall. Others hang out from the wall on a bracket (a wall lantern). For example, here is a wall light version of Lantern...

…and here is the wall lantern version:

Other wall lanterns include:

the Circular Willow wall lantern:

And the wall lantern version of Circular Pod:

There are wall lantern versions of some of Adam's more minimal designs. This is Long Lantern, though in this case (and in the case of the wall lantern version of Lantern above), the structure is more integrated into the overall design:

He also found time to introduce some new designs. The most stunning of the new wall lights is the Half Pipe Wall Sconce:

It is a parabolic curve. Adam points out that it is "...deceptively simple but in reality, every piece of chain has to be cut to the perfect length to simulate the effect of its perfect yet simple fluid form."

If you don't already know Willowlamp, these images will have given you an idea of Adam's style. He works in metal ball chain and laser-cut aluminium. The results are particualrly elegant. They are also good value when compared to large pieces in other materials that provide a similar wow factor (and they weigh less!). The ball chain comes in a choice of colours and finishes:
